I was out for a run in Rothiemurchus today (a fine Scottish forest), doing my warm-up's before banging out an interval session.
I was running up the track to Glen Einich (to drink some Einich water) when a Land Rover comes down the track, "ah, Willie McKenna, Lesley's grandad", I give him a booosh and get on my merry way.
I get on a bit further and all a sudden it's like the A9, as two more 4x4's come down from the hidden corrie. I think to myself "who's this li'?" taking a sly look in to see who it is, and it's none other than HRH Prince Charlie and his home boys out on the cruise enjoying the delights of the snow capped 'gorm's. I'm like, "heeere min, how ya dooeeen?" and give him a big-up-BOOOSH!! and they all give me one back (with the special branch boys in the Rangie at the back giving out the best BOOOSH!).
And I carried on with the session - buzzin banter!
Who have you met out training?
