spot prize at chrimbo for the best sighting of a nope hat. points for randomness, distance from the centre of edinburgh etc, drew, you are winning cos grassie knows him so your sighting is more random.
come on kids, take the hats abroad this summer, take a photo of it on some poor foreigners head, send us the pic, win a prize. double prize for getting pics of it on some really good elite runner.

I believe Brian's Iraqi strips maybe the must have accessories for all the cool kids for the next few months- wore mine to the Auld Hoose pub quiz on tuesday and was getting plenty of chat from the locals who took half an hour to figure out that it was the iraqi flag on the front despite knowing that bahrain had a red and white flag!
i found another of my friends that once touched a nope sport hat tho he cant remember what became of it... I suspect (from typical behaviour) that he probably tried to sleep with it or summat and it was having none of it

speaking of making elite athletes wear stuff - i 'liberated' an inflatable rubber ring 'hot dog' from mcdonalds in Borlange in 1999 (o-ringen party, carnage as usual). Then at WOC relays in scotland, me, BJ, candyman and Mark Innes from canada went around asking some of the top runners to wear it around their waists for a photo. we got carsten, juha peltola, jamie or JD - can't remember which, but we were all WAY too scared of Jorgen Martensson....
Gareth Candymans got the photos, I saw them for the first time a couple of months ago, almost five years since it happened. I was so thin i hardly recognised myself. must have been anorexic.

might have to steal one of the hats next time I'm back and get a genuine Iraqi fundamentalist wielding a nice AK47 to pose with a [Nope] hat in Iraq, would I get a prize for that, slogan could be "just say [Nope] to fundamentalism"
You can't expect to reach the top without a little climbing!

i didnt quite manage the fundamentalist quality tho i was a party and quite bored the other night, Didnt quite have a nope had, so i drew a [nope] poster and took pictures of girls modelling the poster.
Do i get a prize?
the party was actually good, just turned up a bit late after travelling back from british champs.

Once i get the chance to upload the pictures im sure people can see them.
