I'm afraid 'Banter' has had its day
like Craic before it Banter has now gone mainstream,
I even heard the term used on the radio the other day, so its definitely over.

but what is the new Banter ?

Chewin' the Fat was only broadcast in Scotland
(perhaps the most recent airings were nationwide - but whenever I mentioned it to anyone in England they looked about as blank as a blank piece of paper lying on a white blanket)

chewin the fat was on at 11pm on BBC 2 about 3 years ago or somthing, i remember coz it was on when i got back from work. then it changed to somthing about monkeys, cant recall the real name, the one with the cyclists, oleg knows what im talking about anyway.

shizzel is ancient, doggy fizzel has been going for years.
