Interesting start to my morning when opening TES and seeing a photo of him with orienteering in the caption... its an article about blogging headteachers!

Apparently I was the only Head they could find who used his own name to blog.
The article is OK - though as usual in the press the article has very little relationship to what I said. I talked a lot about orienteering as the stress-buster not writing about it! The headline is a classic Murdoch-newspaper "how much alliteration can you get in one bottom joke?" and makes me sound like some sort of pervert. Oh well.
The picture is OK - though I had to flatly refuse the photographer's suggestion that I pretend to be orienteering while wearing a suit. Getting positive publicity for the sport is not easy.
