I will be in southern Scotland and Edinburgh next week (week of April 10th) and I'm looking for training opportunities. Suggestions?

holyrood park (arthurs seat) local event on saturday afternoon, not much else around here unless someone organises something!
uni holidays at the moment so even the usual physical sessions are a bit under-populated.
if you want maps for doing your own training on then we can probably sort you out, i've got a stack of preprinted maps from last years east of scotland champs here (arthurs seat again) and godders can usually provide most otherthings...

Thanks for Rocky and Godders for the maps. I've enjoyed my brief visit to Edinburgh and have been able to do a bit of training as well. Wasn't able to make the intervals as my knee has been a tad sore but when you have a chance to get on new maps you gotta do it. The highlight was orienteering the streets of the old town. Let me know if/when that area gets mapped to modern sprint standards and I'll be sure to be back. I wrote a small section on my blog.

seems to be a lack of contours? -if i'm not mistaken this is the east end of the meadows? -doesn't it all drop away to the north down into town?
edit> sorry my mistake -mharky is still 'working' on it!
