so three hundred and sixty thousand million of you bought the arctic monkeys album. this scares me, because i refuse to buy an album that that many people bought cos either (a) i'll like it and feel like a clone or (b) i won't like it and have wasted a tenner.
so anyone wanna give me a copy to satisfy my intrigue?
on a related topic: we are scientists. i'd believe you if you told me Safety Fun and Learning was the new weezer album. its pleasant, but not exactly groundbreaking stuff.
Tilly and the Wall are my favourite new (to me) band of the week. anyone know anything about them?

Oooh, I like Tilly and the Wall. Last I heard they were releasing their albums for free on the internet and Wild Like Children is great. Is there another?

sorry- i didn't really mean that they sound like the rapture. Rapture are very disco with a bit of rock. i think i was just trying to say that the arctic monkeys stuff has a really dancy element as a result of the bass lines and riffs.
eh?
samsonite>good choice on babies. i can't choose a favourite track- but it would definitely be one off that album.
i now also love the go! team- that album is fab too.

something needs to be done about the youth. this is not even funny.
not quite sure what you mean here. i wasn't saying that i prefer killers to monkeys, more that the mash-up was pretty cool and well done. the monkeys aren't bad, but i just dont understand the huge hype they've had. top 5 brit album? no chance. and 360 million trillion or whatever sales, ridiculous. they'll be forgotten in 10 years.

whats the problem with people and large numbers. i'm pretty sure the magnitude you are all searching for is just "hundred thousand"?

When are you going to see them?
I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.
