You may have paid a long time ago. I took out my subs via Compass Point in November, and because of the revamp didn't get my first one until March. I'd almost forgotten.
Excellent mag though. Great stuff on the Tio-Mila, and good to have reports on the World Cup within before end of month.
Love the opening quote of the World Cup report: "It's incredible how big orienteering is in Great Britain at present....the quality of individual races and spectator attendance at some of the World Cup events struck me too"
I don't think they were being ironical! Goes to show how different things can look from outside.
I also love the quirky English - anybody know how the headline "Sucking Tight" for the Tio Mila article should have read? Surely not

Hmm..I shall have to ask their proof reader! You'd think he'd have done something about that one...

O-Sport or Orienteering Today, the English is delightfully quirky, but I still lament the passing of the 'Toi Toi' advertisements on the back page. Presuming (from the accompanying photo') that Toi Toi is the Euro equivalent of a Portaloo, I wonder if anyone can explain the meaning of the slogan "an untraditional finish of a traditional run ... have a strike!" What does 'strike' mean in this context? More worryingly, what does 'run' mean? Any linguists out there able to shed light on the likely orignal meaning?
Nice to see Minna brandishing a Winterfold map.
