Friday Afternoon Puzzle

Here is the link to the puzzle. http://freeweb.siol.net/danej/riverIQGame.swf It is an IQ puzzle given to Japanese job applicants.

Click on the big blue circle to start (bottom right). Everybody has to cross the river. To move the people, click on them. To move the raft, click on either of the poles on the riverbank. The following rules apply:

1 Only two persons on the raft at a time, at least one of whom must be the father, the mother or the policeman.

2 The father cannot stay with any of the daughters without their mother being there too.

3 The mother cannot stay with any of the sons without their father being there too.

4 The thief (striped shirt) cannot stay with any family member if the policeman is not there.
