Never mind purple socks

I've been trying not to post this for days
but now its Friday and you know what happens on Fridays


So, where the hell do Nike socks go to in the winter ?
I reckon over the last year I've bought about a dozen pairs. At any one time I can find about 3 of them - socks that is
So what the hell is going on ?
Where do they go to ?
Do they dissolve in the wash or something ?

Can anybody recommend me some more relaible/ faithful socks ?

I got a pair of X socks at the weekend - I think they might be better. They are clearly more considerate to their owners with clear instructiuons on what to use them for and where to put them. On top of the foot they say 'Running L' and 'Running R'. Fortunately when I noticed this I had them on the correct feet and was about to go for a run - so they shouldn't get upset with me and disappear like those cheating Nike ones.

Next time you're in Sweden get a bag of 10 pairs of Intersport soxs and stick them in the cupboard for the summer:) You'll find they multiply quite quickly. Actually I think they eat up unsuspecting Nike soxs as I seem to have hundreds of Intersport soxs and not so many Nike ones now..................

Of course it could be that I've not been to Tillicoulltry for a while:)

Have you checked the inside of your duvet cover - there's always a few interesting things trapped in there form the last wash.

Well, as you know duvet covers are a major undertaking - so I had to do this at the weekend. It was a long trip and I saw many things on the way; including a colony of marmots up on a high ridge, but not a single sock.

Donnay socks always stick around, however the are a very solitary sock, refusing specifically to be with any sock of the same patter. however it dont matter coz no one sees that
