well we're going to have a prize draw for one lucky person who signed up to the mailing list gets a date with their choice of one of the stars of the dvd, other uni clubs may choose to follow suit if they stump up the appearance fees
quite a few names down already, think the 2nd day is usually busier tho.

Threshers is a wine shop (alcohol buying place).
Freshers are the new students starting at uni. Freshers Fair is where they get chucked in some big place which has loads of people trying to convince them to sign up for whatever clubs/societies there are at the uni and another bunch of people handing out freebies.
I would assume that the Nopesport lot are convincing the freshers that orienteering is a sport they should all be doing. Or they are there to chat up some of the freshers

I dropped in...
A few names on the email list by Wednesday lunchtime.
Quite amusing visit.. Obviously past it, I was ignored by most, but as I was leaving, after reaquainting my self with EUMC and EUOC, I was chased by a rower lwith orders to chase all big men. Quite flattered to be head hunted.
The sports fair was just like it was in 1979, the last time I attended,
