sentbox.......outbox?

ok..i've managed to confuse myself with PM's........when i send a msn.....sometimes it goes into my sentbox and other times it goes to my outbox......can some1 explain why?! and does the msg actually get sent in both cases?

correct me if im wrong, but the message will be in your outbox until its received by the receiver? so if they are offline it will leave your outbox when they come online, and go into your sent box.

but it may be that if it cant get through cos the receivers inbox is full then it wont send until they clear their inbox

The PM only goes from the outbox to the sent box when the user has entered his inbox
Online status is irrelevant
