my 8th o-ringen. i feel qualified to comment
as a biased IFK Goteborg boy, i have to say it was most enjoyable, and as a major fan of goteborg terrain then it gets a big thumbs up. Day 2 inparticular was spot on, high intensity concentration required through really technical, low visibility forest.. bring it on!
i was shafted by day 5... damage limitation kicked in...
day one was the weakest, but gave the over confident a false sense of security... he he he

Like SJ, I had no past O-Ringens to compare to...but Gothenburg O-ringen rocked. The terrain was amazing and I can't wait to get back to Sweden next year...and improve on my 'orrible results.
I hear the terrains going to be really different, but I'm sure it's equally good. Oh, and this time I'll be prepared for these infamous showers.
Note to all: probably not the best idea to park a double decker coach right next to the showers...the coach didn't leave on time!

I want to walk up the side of the mountain, I want to walk down the other side of the mountain. I want to swim in the river, lie in the sun. I want to try being nice to everyone.

this year was my first oringen and also first ScotJOS tour ( to the SCOTJOS crew) but i hav to say it kicks ass well lives up to the hype . day four was the first time i heve ever had a crap run and felt happy at the end. courses were great apart from maybe day 5 where most of t was on paths (but can't complain as i leap frogged seventeen scandi's on a last minute dash up the leaderboard ) the area on day four was a beast me thinks that a lot more of that is needed in britain likewise marabou and peppercakkor and all the other edible delights all that is eft to say is my friends to all the delights of svenska
