Anyone know of a good place to stay in the lakes for a group of about 25-30 people, looking for simple accomodation, camping barn/hostel/village hall (with showers/cooking) possibly.
pm me if you know of good places to stay, cheers

Re Coniston Village Hall, you could contact Lisa and Martyn Broadest for the contact name. They held their Wedding Ceilidh in the hall. If you are interested, pm or e-mail me and I'll give you their contact details.

you could try http://www.groupaccommodation.com - their listings range from luxury castles down to bunkhouses. Rydal Hall is listed, and Denton House in Keswick where I have stayed a couple of times although I have to say it's a bit basic.
