Norway...
just wondering if anyones got any advice or cheap deals they know for gettin to norway? we were thinkin of going for a few days in july to a place called Kristiansand, anyone who knows norway know which airports are closest or any advice to get there from the airport?

you can fly by ryanair from stansted or prestwick to Oslo torp, which is actually about 2 hours from oslo, in the direction of kristiansand.
the sorlandsexpressen is a good coach service which runs from oslo to kristiansand and stops at torp. think it takes 3-4hours from the airport.
you can also fly ryanair to haugesund, which is west of kristiansand, but i've never done that route so someone else will have to fill in the details on it.
good part of the world, especially at that time of year: its called the norwegian riviera.

Torp would be your best bet, there might be a train too from there to K'sand, Haugesund is also a beautiful place, in the fjordland area, so great for amazing scenery, K'sand is a bit flatter and more forests.
from Haugesund you can go north to bergen or south to stavanger, go sea kayaking, skiing on the plateaus (posssibly) or walking in the hills, and there is a jazz festival there, can't remember the dates though,
