Edinburgh to Aviemore
I'm flying into Edinburgh Airport at 5:30pm on Monday 13th March and want to get to Aviemore that night to join the OUOC training week. Would anybody happen to be going that way at the time?

You could make sure you have hand baggage, select a megabus without a toilet, ask to stop around aviemore to relieve yourself (talk about kidney problems if driver is a hard ball). When the bus stops, leg it.

I've got an exam on the Monday morning which is why I can't get the OUOC fun-(mini)bus up to BUSA. Somebody seems to think I'm in Oxford to do a degree...

get yourself on a train to south queensferry, get off, aim for the forth road bridge and stick your thumb out. a sign for aviemore might help.

Pakit Hyman cycled it one time, having worked overnight.
All day breakfast at Killiecrankie, met us in the afternoon at Inshriach.
when he arrived I offered him a run, in response he rolled his eyes and he and his bike toppled over in a perfect harmony of man and machine.
He woke up the next day though so that was ok.
