I want to get to the Purple Thistle from Brighton. Which is a helluva long way from Arisaig, and makes it pretty difficult to get there using public transport.
Would anybody be able to give me a lift some of the way? I can get to Glasgow without any problems, know lots of second hand jokes, and like to think I can read a map...

if you can't find a lift on from glasgow (or anywhere else) there is always the hogwarts express (aka first scotrail) which passes right through the area and stops a couple of km away from the campsite & event.
I'm not too sure on whether glasgow has a platform 9¾ or whatever it is. Or else find a flying car.

u may well get a lift from me from edinburgh if u want.
also, i can do a bit of a taxi service from the nearest station to the event for petrol money for those who want to get a train all the way there. just post here if u are interested.

Will be looking for a lift from Glasgow or the 'Burgh if I can? Will happily pay petrol. Not intending to actually run but fancy coming along for the banter and to take pics.
