this is a bit of a random request, but just wondered if anyone could help me out.
I'm going to be up in the burgh on sat 25th june for a wedding reception. I'm staying in the city, but the reception itself is out of town, at a castle called Oxenfoord, about 12 miles outside of the city.
at the moment i am planning to drive out there, but of course this will mean i won't be able to partake in the free bevvy;
a taxi will cost a bomb (and i am STILL a poor student
), so I am looking for a lift off someone! is anyone around on sat 24th with a car who can give me and my missus a lift out to the castle on saturday evening at around 6pm? I'll pay for petrol plus a bit more, and a 6 pack of beverage of your choice. no need for a lift back cos i reckon there'll be a good chance of a lift or shared taxi.
