If I was a betting woman, I would go with the Swiss or the French winning the men's race (more inclined towards the Swiss).

The women's race seems much less clear-cut but I will put my head above the parapet and suggest that I think the Australian team could well beat the British team given results so far.

No chance of the Aussies winning the Orienteering Ashes (what's that trophy called?) as there isn't an Oz men's team... or any Oz men this year... wonder why? Is that trophy still competed for...

I think it'll be a tough race... GB men will be doing well to hit the top 6. Maybe the Czechs will produce a surprise in the women's race... and maybe the Russians for the men? Bring back 4 legs... makes predictions so much easier

GG has shown top form. Scott can match that. Speakey won't be far off the two of them and has fire in his belly.

According to live results China are the first through TV2 and appear to be completely alone - but maybe this is an information blip - there have been several of them this week.
Now it's China, Belarus, Germany - not anybody's prediction I would imagine

Where did you get that info from Gross - it is in some ways more detailed than Live Comments but less complete - and TOTALLY different from Live results
