Scottish 6 day Elite competition

Was just wondering if anyone knew if the structure for the elite competition at the 6 day had been decided yet? two days are without start times - are there chasing starts etc? Do all 6 days count?

It's the same as last year, cumulative time, with a chasing start on day 4 and a reverse order start on day 6

The format of the Elite competition is to be confirmed, subject to a review of the new system introduced for Speyside 2007.

No it doesn't, but that'll be because it hasn't been updated yet.... I'm going from memory from a vague comment in a meeting about a year ago. Programme is out very soon which will confirm / deny!

From the programme, which is now available online....

In the Elite classes, the competition will be decided on the combined time over 6 days, i.e. competitors will need to complete all 6 days to count. There will be a chasing start on Day 4 and a reverse order start on Day 6. Start times on these days will be based on the leading times from Days 1‐3 and Days 1‐5 respectively. In the chasing start on Day 4, the leading runner will start first. In the reverse order start on Day 6, the leading runner will start last.
