After the longest thread in nopesport history, perhaps it's time for a poll?
You've read the debate (maybe), you might even have been to one of these new regionals (ie the ones with colour courses and age classes). Are they an improvement or a backward step?
Are the new regional events better than the old ones?

Can you add a vote category:
'sorry I haven't a clue'
for me

Poll may not be representative since most (perhaps) of the newcomers at which the changes are aimed may not yet have heard of or started using Nopesport.

I'm glad to see the last option is winning well.

I think that must be almost all the votes in now.
As always, you can interpret election results in the way you want
"Only 12% of orienteers think the old regional events are better than the new ones"
or
"Only 24% of orienteers think the new regional events are better than the old ones"
or
"When asked a simple question about the sport, 63% admitted that they just wanted to go orienteering. The other 37% are probably on their way to a meeting to discuss the new event structure"

From what I hear about Greythwaite, they're exactly as good as the old National events

Coming soon

Damn - Graeme you beat me to that clever answer to this thread!
Personally I'm tempted to go to Graythwiate now just to give two fingers up at Map Group who are so far up their own ...... that they can't see the wood for the trees.
