Who is actually staging the JIRCS - it doesn't say on the BOF fixture list - I'm assuming it's CLOK but there is no mention of it on the CLOK or NEOA website - i do hope we may be able to view some results this evening - but where should we look?

Not sure who is staging the event but I think live-o results may be available from the link below? I would hope that Mike Napier's site should become 'live' soon (mobile communications permitting) as starts were from 13.00hrs?

WOW !!!

Fantastic performance from the NWJS to secure the win. Big to all the competitors and especially to the three (WCOC) competitors who were running up - Katrina Hemingway (W12) - 17th on W14, Lewis Taylor (M16) - 13th on M18 and Charlotte Watson (W16) - 1st on W18.

There was a chap taking lots of photo's at the JIRC's - tall, blue hat and yellow flourescent jacket? Anyone know him/whether he will publish the photos?. It's not the chap in the previous post as the chap I am asking about can be seen taking a photo in a photo that "Barny" has published.

Go onto Southdowns website via BO - search a club - and you will find other links to photos for the Lines's family on the front page (Devils Dyke) - that will take you into their gallery and there are several sets of excellent photos taken over the weekend.

Beyond that I do not have a contact for them and am not sure if they post here.
Nick Barrable may be able to help as he uses quite a few of their photos.

But major to the scotjos girls for getting 3 in the top 6 at the relay.

Great event, great memories. Anyone remember the relays at JIRC 1999, all the money was on the Scottish dream team (Strain, Chepelin, McCarthy - still sounds reasonable today! ), and indeed we led at every spectator control and changeover, but the eventual winners were the SOA B team (Maclachlan, Brunton, Porteous - less familiar names these days! ) in an epic sprint finish! Absolutely classic moment.

Indeed I do, I was with Ewan out in front when we blow it on the final loop finishing in 6th about 20seconds down.
