help needed, in finding gothenburg accomodation!!
my father has been trying in vain to find a place to stay for the week that jwoc is on, for around 8-10 people, around the gothenburg area,
however due to a b****y bruce springsteen concert with 50000 people attending, all available accomdation has been booked up!!
ideally the idea was to not hire a car and go via public transport. but this could be abandoned if there was nothin near by.
so, basically, i was wondering if anyone could offer any help? club huts was one option i had thought of???
any sensible ideas welcomed.

A new item has gone up on the JWOC homepage http://www.gmok.nu/jwoc2008/accomodation.php?PHPSESSID=e1c4482a3d0c2317c2cbb9ad6273b087
Because of the concert the organisers are helping out finding visitors and spectators accommodation. It's probably your best bet, contacting them would be the best way to find out which huts are available as well.

You know it's legal to free camp in the woods in Sweden - providing that you are 100m from anyone's home.
There's some great forests and lakes not far from the tram lines/public transport system!
