For the thousands that did not attend any of this event, the weather was good to superb throughout, we had two of the most picturesque assembly areas you're likely to get this year, and one of the ugliest ever. Three completely contrasting days both in terrain and style of event. Hoardes of TD1 - 3 competitors (relatively).
But feel sorry for Norma organising day 2. They arrive to find the forest rapidly being felled necessitating removing the last control on most courses. Lorries arrive requiring Norma to match keys with cars and move a number of them. And while all this is going on somehow the previous day's results get combined with that day's meaning that many results are gibberish. Then the mini printer packs up meaning that there aren't any splits on he day either.
Despite this she worked all night to sort out the data and got the results online on Monday morning. Congratulations to her.

Re: Spey in May
Fortunately the results weren't as disastrous as they at first appeared - only a few still showed the previous day's results. The results were on the web by midnight on Sunday but one or two amendments were still made on Monday and there are still 2 to crack...
