Is there anything fun happening within the M25 on Saturday this weekend? If no, does anyone have a map/ocad file of somewhere fun I could do a bit of technique practice on?
Also, anyone have any tips on the best place to spectate the marathon so you actually have a vague chance of spotting people?
Cheers!

The events page of the SEOA web site http://www.seoa.org.uk/ mentions a fun introductory event, if you want to go along and pretend to be a novice.

The LOK site has PDF's of their permanent courses, Hampstead Heath and Trent Park I think.

You should be about to spot about 35000 runners, plus 000s of spectators, almost anywhere on the course.

But if you want to spot specific people then probably best to avoid the very crowded areas like Start, Greenwich, Tower Bridge, Embankment & Finish. Quieter bits are perhaps in other parts south of the river, and in Docklands - a bit of route planning between these can potentially pick out three different vantage points without too much travel between them.
