Big Wood W75

Anyone else think it would be fairer to grant all W75s ranking points, no matter which course they ran, based on mins/km, rather than disenfranchising half the attendees ?

A difficult situation, unfortunate but on the other hand fortunately very rare. I'm sure the planning & controlling team are sorry for the oversight.
This comes back to the old debate of when to void a course? Is the issuing of ranking points the over-riding concern?
Difficult to hold a valid competition if the competitors have run different courses.
