I've seen the map, trained nearby. It's an overestimation.

umm, don't know about kicking ass, but should be a bit of a fell race....hopefully i'll start off in a big pack of steady, very (very) clean night orienteers, then it's map away and follow the light brick road...

best make sure your first 4 runners don't lose touch then, otherwise some map-reading may be in order. It's tough, this orienteering lark isn't it

For anyone who wants to follow how all the Brits do at Tiomila seehttp://www.tiomila.se/2004/index.asp?lan=eng
Sprint Race this eve
Womens race starts at 1.30pm Sat due to finish around 5pm for leaders
Mens race starts at 8pm Sat due to finish around 7.30am for the leaders
As well as all the times going up very quickly on the web you can watch/listen (Radio Tiomila) to the action through http://www.alternativet.nu/ & even send messages to the speakers to broadcast!
Was cool last year listening to Heather Monro battling for the lead on last leg of womens.
Would love to be there this year but got a small event at Lydney Park to put stakes out for!

Ed Nash is currently in the lead at the second radio control on first leg!! BOOSCH!
i'd highly reccomend the live coverage if you have a good enough connection, it's quite addictive, just watched ed come through a control.
