As far as I can see Epson don't support Windows ME, and certainly their official site doesn't have an ME driver, just 2000/XP

I have a feeling you might struggle!

Yeah, I know Epson don't supply an ME driver nowadays, hence my post on here!

I was bored so did some Googling. Looks like you might need either TDR161e.exe or ADT209E.exe (the latter appears to include USB support). Here's a random page which includes both. A few caveats though :
  • I don't have the printer or OS, so haven't tried executing anything
  • the installers mention 95, 98 and 2000, but not ME directly
  • run a virus scanner over everything before running it
