Unless I'm very much mistaken the JK M21E was won by a bloke called Jamie Stevenson, a bloke with the standard 2 legs, 2 arm, head etc.
So whats with this 'World Champion Jamie Stevenson - TM' stuff
Is this seriously a case of The Orienteer Formerly Known as Jamie ?
if so I want to know what his symbol is.
on the other hand
I hope you guys are just taking the mick.

i believe it was merely due to the commentators at the weekend... They rarely said his name without adding the 'World Champion' bit, so rocky carried on this in his report.

Sorry Nails, I'd restrained myself up until now, but after that post I can't let you get away without pointing out the missing apostrophe in your signature any longer...

That's ok ed, i'm talking about the text message speak, does it really take that much longer to type a full message....it's not like we're limited to the number of characters that we can type each day!!
On the Jamie thing....surely andy m was making the most of it...it was the first domestic race Jamie had done, so punters needed to be reminded.....it wasn't like he was under any pressure to perform!! Apart from when you popped up in the lead on saturday ed

well thats a relief,
I'm also relieved that Jene can type in English !
doesn't your head feel much clearer for it ?
however I do believe I've hit on a plan
no longer will Jamie be Jamie from now on I decree that he is
The World Champion fromerly known as Jamie Stevenson

Kitch I rekon Jamie sorry.... the world champion formerly known as jamie stevenson....would rather be called Jamie Stevenson, with the 'world champion' bit added every so often where necessary! When I was doing the adventure race at the nec with him the other weekend, it was the same there, and most of the adventure racers don't even know what orienteering is!....just smile Jamie!
Oh yes, i ment to say earlier ta for the tow along on sunday, that red top really stands out in the forest!
