The history of EUOC

I'm writing an article about EUOC and would like to begin it with a few lines about how the club began and some important history/alumni, I realised I don't really have a clue. Has anyone out there got any info to send me? PM or put it here!

it was founded in 1964

and has been chuffin awesome since that point.

There exists a wee book(let) - The History of Scottish Orienteering or something - there may be a bit about EUOC in there if you can lay your hands on a copy. I think the National Centre has quite a few....
