i always take my minidisc player, but only because i haven't invested in mp3 yet. my choice of tracks always includes a bit of Rage, Limp Bizkit, the Rocky IV soundtrack, Eminem (apparently 'Till I Collapse' is the most popular track for Premiership football players before a match!), and i'll be the first to admit 5ive is never far from the beginning of any long run.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

just ask mharky, and he'll be glad to tell u that our computer at home is clogged up with all kinds of crap, ranging from S Club 7 to Backstreet Boys - but it's all in the name of being motivated for training, so that's my excuse...

Supersaint....
Do you have the time warp on your running tunes?
I used to in 99 but it has since been deleted.

Right the secret to success, as proven with the motivational music behind both Scotland and now EUOC glory, not to mention Lithuanian sporting glory is 3 Milijonai the Lithuanian Sports Anthem. And seeing as rocky has been giving away my euoc trade secrets to all and sundry here is the secret to busa success:
A-Team Theme
This is the One - Stone Roses
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac (to those not in the know - old F1 theme tune had this in it)
A few of the tracks from rocky soundtracks - eye of the tiger, final countdown, far from over, gonna fly now, no easy way out
some pumping numbers - chariots of fire trance remix, final countdown dance remix, scooter - rebel yell, skeelo vs eye of the tiger
some hip hop - lose yourself - eminem, a track called Keep It Up - snap (rocky 5 soundtrack)
it all finishes off of course with we are the champions... good tunage.

Love
Eye of the tiger and fleetwood mac - the chain.
And sounds like you have some tunes sorted, no wonder you EUOC boys are the best, (okay i was wrong before)
But champions at teh end? As bad as simply the best!

One of these...
I find a 128MB mp3 player to be just about right for the length of run I normally do alone and Rio make the best solid state players (an ipod or similar isn't ideal as constant jogging will eventually break it).
