Quite a few Brits out at this 4 day event in Portugal at the moment. Top class result from Catherine Taylor on Day 1 on W21E with 7th place out of over 100! The GB Junior Squad have certainly been having some good runs. Thierry Gueorgiou has won both days on the M21E, Rob Baker was top Brit on yesterday's middle race in 18th place, Oli Johnson was the fastest on today's World Ranking Event 'classic' race in 68mins, Thierry's winning time of 61mins was very impressive in the very rocky terrain.
Full report on return to Britain.

No-one has mentioned the weather! At the model event I gave up within 5 minutes and thought I'd die getting back to the car. We had gales, rain, sleet, hail and snow at different times. The overall memory was the cold. Great fun though. The following weekend we had proper Portuguese winter sun and warmth.
