Just seen on the Tio Mila site that JOK are not the only British team entered to run in the men's relay. Does anyone know who is running as the "England select" team?
And is the "ex-legends" team entered on the men's course really a Finnish team - sounds to me like it must have a few nopesport runners??

Actually don't think you should be calling yourselves 'ENGLAND' select or anything if you are not representing the country... gives a false impression & devalues the honour of representing your country.
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Half? By my counting there were only 4 sassenachs in the Scotland team last weekend - probably the lowest number for a long time. Andy and myself have been running for Scotland for years. Certainly more team spirit in the Scottish camp.

I'm running in this "england select" team......as a ringer mind, and not as a member of SYO. As far as team name is concerned, was nought to do with me, i beleive that tett, ward, harrison, goddard, edwards etc. have been running tio under that name for years. Top 100 here we come...

You don't decide to run for your country ........ you are selected. Saying half the English team decided to run for Scotland is a total load of b******t.

I thought the reason why 'half the England team' decided to run for Scotland was that Dave/ Dan/ Janine etc were not getting picked for the England team, despite being worthy candidates. Think it is time Scotland got in touch with Roger Goddard, Nick Morgan, Jules Simpson, Al Buckley etc to sign them up for next year. Added to this the excellent training that SEDS puts on and the trips abroad, I can't understand why more people haven't found a Scottish granny yet.
