At least one British Orienteering Champion(M21E), and one British Relay Champion (W Open) have also run in the World XC champs.

Technically the "World" x-c champs only started in 1973. When did the lead O course become "elite"?
Old school could have been Chris Brasher I guess (was he ever british O champion?), or Gordon Pirie who was the first.
