I'd like to think that AIRE will win, but there will definitely be strong opposition from last year's winners and runners-up (OD and BOK respectively), and i too have heard that SYO have got some very good strength in depth on the brown course - but i don't think it will be a whitewash as Messrs. Crane, Barrable and Gristwood will probably have something to say about that.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

Very prescient Supersaint, well done on your predictions! In the circumstances, I think we (Aire) were pretty chuffed with fourth in spite of Tatty's prediction: just too many big names missing to challenge for the topmost flight, but some great runs by those who were there. (And that's not meaning to be an excuse or to denigrate the fine win by OD: you've got to get your team out first, and they certainly did that!).
Thanks to BAOC for an equally fine event. It was the quickest area I've been on in a while and an excellent race (good to get over 130 in a single 'class' too). Quite exciting running somewhere with such historic connotations too.
