is it just me or has there been a lot of fairly unproductive chat in the forums recently?
anyway, to day was the qualification races for the prestigious PostFinance Spring in Bern, Switzerland, where JD finished a creditable 3rd place in a World Class field.
The PostFinance is a big-money elite race which from 2007-9 will also be the final round of the World Cup. This year it is just a prolougue to the actual World Cup which kicks off on Monday.
Full results are not yet known, but JD was the only brit in the top 15, while there were no British girls in the top 10.
While todays qualification races were in the forest over a middle distance course, tomorrows final is a sprint race round the sreets of Bern before the athletes drive to Clemont-Ferrand in France.
Report will be on the front page once more british results are clear.
