Can anyone recommend the best footwear for Richmond this weekend? I've got dobbed O shoes or off road trainers - what's best?!

I'd go for off-road trainers. It's quite dry down here and I don't think there's any rain forecast. And there may well be short sections of road running.

Off road trainers should be fine, I will be wearing mine. Last time I ran, there was certainly some road, I recall Richmond Park being grass with gravel tracks.

Yep there is likely to be a few bits of road/pavement (on the Ham bit before/after Richmond Park) so I certainly wouldn't recommend dobbed o-shoes. I've always used off road trainers here before. Richmond Park is mainly grass and tracks.

An interesting dilemma, especially when your options are dobbed O-shoes or road running trainers Don't want to disappear in a shower of sparks so I guess it's road shoes. Mind you, I've run a few standard O events in dobbed shoes and wished I hadn't, but I know the first time I wear my road trainers I'll be faced with steep wet slopes Must remember to ask Santa for some off road trainers.
