Please note that the old codger hasn't actually entered. But I'm pleased I get entered by default. What a reputation I have. True the shorter the better for me. I'm holding back at present due to a hamstring injury that prevents sprinting, but maybe with some rest and not too much hockey I'll be able to show Mrs H my heels. I could be further pursuaded by the thought of Braddie at the end waiting to greet the winners, particularly as Mrs H doesn't know Braddie and I do! On second thoughts perhaps it would be better to be chased by Braddie, or maybe Lord Fred as he's a mean machine on the run in. Yes I know him too! If I can't run I'll just have to dream about it! Should give me a few restful nights.

Could I be a sprint star then if I can get fit.
As Mrs H starts after me she will have probably caught me by the finish so you never know it could be head to head at least on one day. She's the short one and I'm the fat one

That is quite a recent phenomenon - as even I of great maturity accidentally got involved in a junior debate when all the topics were on the bulletin board and you didn't know which forum they were in. If he's a junior i'll.................give up red wine
