Dave Rollins stars on TV!

BBC1 's memory programme tonight (presented by Robert Winston) featured GBR Team Manager Dave Rollins showing someone who is poor at navigating some simple orienteering techniques.

Even with Dave's help, she didn't look like a future GBR star!

It was filmed at Longmoor Camp in May and originally they wanted Dave in uniform throughout, barking orders like a guardsman, but we managed to convince them otherwise and switched the focus so that I think orienteering came out quite well and she even used some of the techniques on her final test, good shot of her thumbing the map. Incidentally there was over a whole day of filming just to get that shortclip.
