I think the medals will come out of Finland, Switzerland and France. The result probably relies a lot on Renards 2nd leg. Gonon will be back with the lead pack and Thierry, is well Thierry, and on the last leg with probably something to prove after today. If Switerland is to win, i think it will be Hubman on the 2nd leg that does it for them. Marc wont get caught if goes out with a lead. And Finland, well maybe a bit of a suprise that Lakanen didnt run first in 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2004 he ran 1st leg in all these WOC relays and come back 1st in each. Mats is one of the toughest bastards around and wont give anything away at the start, with Jarkko and Jani to follow, i think they will go into the relay as the favourites. Russia and Great Britain will be the teams in the top 6, ready to take a medal if either of the top 3 fail. To round out my top 6 i would say Ukraine, with Yuri killing off any teams still hanging on. Denmark could be strong, but with Chris not allowed to run, and Claus Bloch on 1st, im sure they will go down in flames....
Go orienteering in Great Britain......... its financially better off than Australia:)

Women's has to be:
Norway 1st
I'll go with the Swedes to beat Switzerland & Finland with rest of podium places between Russia, Lithuania & Czech's.
For the men..... Agree with BJ over Finns , then France, then, Norway,Swedes or Swiss, the Brits.... but if Oli kicks butt coz he's ultra pissed off & JD and Jaime aren't knackered then it could be bronze for GB..... but what about the Russians??? Men's is going to be a close race all the way through...

Totally agree with BJ and Gross. There is going to be some great racing tomorrow. Possibly as close as the European's this year. Great Britain Men are clearly top 6 potential and should definitely be hounding for the medals too! The GB Women's team has had a big shake up this year if they come close to a top 6 it will be a great result and very promising for the future. I look forward to it all with great anticipation!!
Coooom on!!!
...and by the way Lord Fred of Dikalotshire...there is a comment in your middle report that needs attention...Heather Monro won the Bronze medal in the Sprint Distance at the World Championships last year 2005

Yep good run from Sarah, are the Norwegians out of it already, a surprisingly poor leg from them, but a hell of a race developing up front.
