I understandt that the forecast rapid growth of spaghetti in most forests which make most areas unrunnable by then.

The solution is relatively easy, if possibly expensive. When seeking permission to use an area we would also need permission to bury a very long piece of iron bar along the length of the forest.For the duration of the event a large current would have to be applied to a coil around the bar to create an artificial magnetic field. This would have the advantage of being able to have the magnetic field lines at an appropriate angle to the terrain, making awkward shaped pieces of forest fit much more easily onto a standard piece of paper.
