Why start at the top??? The SOA AGM is happenning on April 24th in Crieff after the Short Race. Start the revolution in Scotland:D The SOA has regular meetings with BOF to discuss broad principles such as coaching strategy. The SOA has a big problem on the coaching development front just now.
Personally I am standing down as SOA VP (Performance) and also as SEDS & Scottish Team co-ordinator....... it's now 30 years since I first sat on the SOA Executive.... ok it wasn't continuos but it's been long enough to have got p****d off manys a time>

so if we were going to push for one thing to be included at this late date, what should it be do u reckon?
btw, even if we cant do anything, i think we should all still turn up to the agm. show them that if u go about it the right way, you can galvanise people into action

wear the t-shirts en-masse. that way they will know what a revolution this set-up has been, and they will know that we are deadly serious when a lot of suggestions/votes/woteva come from readers of this forum/website.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

At this late date any proposal would have to be non controversial to have any chance so why not go with paying for coaching qualifications for students (+ retrospective for those students who have paid for themseles).
I think they may allow this.

I emailed BOF to find out how to submit a proposal and also for a list of proposals already going to be voted on (just in case there's anything hideous that should be campaigned against!) but they're ignoring me . . .charming.

Doesn't any body know anyone who works at BOF like Helen Winskill or Jenny whitehead that we could ask nicely to put in the resolution for us - Not me - they all hiss and make crosses with their fingers when they hear my name
