New BOF Website
Hmm... not a fan. I'm not going to go into details as obviously someone has spent a lot of time on it but I prefered the clean style of the old site. That and the blue clashes with the red (might just be my shot colour vision though).

must be me... but http://www.britishorienteering.org.uk takes me directly to the old site!

It takes me to the new page..... Definately looks more modern, and has pretty pics which is good, though i have to agree on the title sounding like a cliche!
I'm not lost, I just don't know my precise location in the environment...

well done to bof for making a visually more appealling site.
maybe nopesport made them roll it out faster.
but I bet you we could have made it for a lot cheaper!

Visually more appealing? I'm not sure about that. It comes straight from the book of pastel colours, with extra pastel colours on top. Kind of purple-ish text on a light purple-ish background isn't my idea of readbility and there seems to be something dodgy going on in the stylesheet since links are in smaller text than the surrounding paragraphs (in Firefox anyway). As for using images for the links in the main menu... don't get me started.
Incidentally, what host is nopesport running on? Currently in the process of upgrading ednash.com and looking for somewhere cheap with php and mysql...
Oops. 50 posts. I've just become an addict.

gross - you might have to empty your browser cache to view the new site from that address
ed - nopesport is on web-mania.com. by far the cheapest i have found, everything you need, dont expect too much support mind...
about the bof site, its definitely better than the old one, without a doubt. so much better. there are obviously flaws in it, but im sure bof have got it done by someone they know or a cheap company, cos they cant afford a nice big digital media design bureau (well they could have but didnt ask )
give them a chance to update it all, and then you can all start greeting about it if its still bad
