Take a look at the results for HOCs event at Fownhope last Sunday.
28 Ind young competitors on White through to Orange.
Also a smattering through the older age classes.
Looks like the Mrs H MADO initiative is proving quite a success. Congratulations.

Thanks Klebe - it was just as you surmised - a good number of individuals and families testing the water at a "proper" event - and it was a lovely day i must admit. Obviously i'm thrilled. we already have 20 new members in 8 family units and loads more on the way - two whole school teams for the School champs (KSW and MCOC - I don't know if we've ever done that before) and a local rural primary setting up an after school club because the kids demanded it after being to the MADO events. this is how I thought it would work - instead of going into the schools and hoping to get the kids and then possibly the parents, get the parents and kids to go into the school and start it up. At MADO5 next month I will be making a big membership play by pushing the Club champs in December where there will be the new MADO Trophy for the best performing family group - I don't want them to think there is nothing for them there (or heaven forbid ignore them completely)- and of course they'll need to join to take part! And then we roll on to the MADO Mini League next year......
