Well, it's full of great race articles and maps, just like the previous few issues. Dave's Yewdale map looks great ("map of the issue"), but would be more interesting to look at if it had a course on it!
I prefer the map on pages 36/37 used for the Russian WOC selection races. It looks like a really extreme version of Winterfold. The Alberta map on page 39 is good too - I've run on that terrain in conditions where you wanted to go through the green stuff to get some shade from the sun and the 35'C heat.

agree, a very nice area for map of the issue, would have been nice to have a beast of a course on it (i'm sad like that and work out where i'd have gone). loving the tips on mtbo, perhaps something similar for foot-o as well. good to finally see some pics from woc.

Map of the Issue
The Map of the Issue is traditionally the only map in the mag without a course on. Kind of like a centre page pull out of a bare/naked Lady!? There is no stopping you putting some clothes (controls) on her yourself!?
However, the editor has noted your views!
