They were taken out because it was thought that they were wasting valuable screen space.
You know your own number - should you be using the results to find photos of other runners? (I don't know if this is something to worry about. )

Google cache of the old results (with runner numbers) can be found, for the time being at least, here for non-elites and here for the elites.

I know Stodge was asked to "blur" the numbers worn by the juniors in the relays on the JK website so it was more difficult for anyone to use the numbers to identify juniors.
IMHO, if someone is determined to track down a particular individual, they will find a way, no matter what you do. This is just a sign of the times we live in.

No I don't know my number or my children's as I do not have the bibs (bined them after the event) and the start list has gone from the Scottish website..so won't be buying any photos from WeGotYou as no way of tracking down the photos, and what's wrong with looking up photos of other club mates anyway. We have our club presentations coming up soon and it may be nice to buy a photo and present it to the club champions etc on the evening especially if there are a few dodgy photos for a laugh. Does WeGotYou know there is no way to track a photo down..maybe an email to them is required.

Perhaps if you asked we would remind you.
There are discussions at the moment as to the best way to proceed and GotYou have been contacted.
It has been suggested that we publish a list over start numbers for MW20+ Would that be satisfatory?

Yes, M/W 20+ sounds good, and I can work out my childrens bib numbers by using +/- 1 on my number as the bib numbers will be consecutive for families. I remember that our numbers were in a series.

After considering all the contributions in this and other forums, we have posted lists with bib numbers of all M/W 20+ entries, linked from the Deeside 2005 results page
If there are any other numbers required then I am sure that resonable requests to info at scottish6days.com will be answered.
Enjoy the photographs.
