During the next days it will be possible to watch the most significant moments of the 5 days on television, within the program "Icarus: searching the limit", on SKY Sport 2, with the following timetables:

July 25th at 18,30
July 26th at 00,45
August 1st at 9,00

cracking news that there's more orienteering on the telly. this i what we need more of to try and publicise the sport.

this afternoon i've switched on the box to be greeted with bloody show jumping a load of upper class kids worried that tinkerball is going to end up as horse glue if she clatters into the evian advertising stands.

now for those who were in switzerland they would have had the full media effect.

1.) a phat helicopter filming the start of the jwoc relays - nice
2.) the post finance bad boy sprint live on the regional tv station (a bit like central going out there way to razz up a sutton park sprint or maybe not)
3.) a highlights package of jwoc on telly at the end of the week
4.) highlights of that days action at the prize giving ceremony

and the thing that messed with my head advertising of orienteering on bus shelters by the major sponser post finance.

I've not got SS2 any way so I'm going to miss out, but I thought others might be disappointed if there's a mix up.
