This has great scope for out and out cheating.
Someone who has had a brilliant run with the exception of one control could go out and remove that control - throwing it into the bushes somewhere. The last few runners wouldn't be able to find it, so the results would be re-calculated with that leg and the next one removed.
Just occurred to me (through a haze of beer and ooooh my arms hurt from canoe training) that it makes no difference whether you void the course or remove the leg to this form of cheating. The result is basically the same for such a competitor - a bad control + some cheating = result changed.

I have one comment to make before someone PLEASE locks this thread.
rahzel, I did not see or feel your stings and so have not commented or argued on the severity. But you did not see or feel my stings either!
However if you are that obbsessed, I will take pictures next time to prove (although i hope there wont be a next time!!!)
oh and i was on first leg too (but disguised as an M18,lol)
