Have a look at the WCOC site for the animation of the route taken by Mike Billinghurst and Howard Leslie at the recent Dalegarth West evening event. Improvements in presentation make it a quicker load. The software is a freeware version of Pegas-O.

Yeah, Mark, you are right to a certain extent. The graphics are lumpy.... The program is limited and not very sophisticated... but I think it is unfair to say it is rubbish!
But the reason we use it is we can enhance OUR site with routes that were discussed in the pub after the event. The selected competitors draw up routes on their maps and a club member prepares the animation. It works for us. Enhancing the 'club' experience is important and this is a means of doing so, relatively easily.
The Norwegian(?) site is very good and is interesting if those you compete against at a major event aren't within talking distance. And it is always good to see what elite winners choose as routes.
