Last year, the spread was 33mins. In your scheme the last starter has 3/4 of the course to catch eight minutes - it is bound to happen (but like I said, doesn't really matter and is probably fairer than the normal thing of having some people running together for most of the race).
Graeme, what you said about being able to plan good long legs is a factor because of the loops, however a lot of time is being spent to make sure the race/ courses will be as good as possible!I can't imagine anyone complaining about it not being technical enough!!
You can spend as long as you like, but you wont get a
10+ minute leg in a 20 minute loop . I'd regard a classic where all you have to do is stay in contact along the red line, without ever needing to think ahead to plan a route, as "not technical enough".
