Looking at that list, I reckon an 'access development officer' or a 'major events consultant' would be more useful.

But if I remember from recent threads Mrs H does not get out of bed for the salaries on offer for these type of positions!
Its Friday, so we could have a thread on what Mrs H would get out of/into bed for?

Less of this unseemly speculation please
Mrs H.
As she has found her penchant for day time television and internet chat rooms is just taking up so much of her available time.
He's not been in post very long tho' has he? - Less than a year I'd guess.

I believe the job description involves maintenance of the BOF database, and a good working knowledge of computer systems.
The sport needs a good central computing centre. Far too much (!!??) of orienteering these days is controlled (?) and depends on computers. There is an opportunity here for BOF to provide a universal entry system for all C3 events and above, to remove some of the workload from organisers. They would also have direct access to the levy. They would also be able to monitor the numbers participating and make sure all those running were BOF members.
